Supporting One Another in this Unprecedented Time

We’re grateful for you. Thank you to those who have held a membership over the past year with Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center and for helping to provide public awareness, education, and enjoyment of the visual arts by promoting the works of Michigan artists with your support. Despite our world’s changing landscape, we can count on you, and we’re grateful.

You belong. Together, we’re helping our Michigan artists shine online brighter than ever, even in times of crisis. Thank you for helping our team re-dedicate our efforts to inspire and engage with artful and authentic programs and communications. Members like you support inclusive programming for all people to experience, create, and purchase Michigan-made art, and we’re glad you’re part of our organization.

We support one another. During this unprecedented time, we’re here to help. Online, we’re posting resources for Michigan artists and offering opportunities for art-making for people of all ages and abilities. In light of the times, we’re automatically your membership renewal date by three months. Of course, you’re welcome to renew here if you’re able to do so, and know that we welcome your support.

Are you in a position of hardship?

  • Please also know that if you are unable to renew your membership this year due to financial hardship, we would like to offer a free one-year membership to you at this time. We currently have allocated funding for 5 free memberships for 2020 and will be raising support for more. If you are interested, please contact Administrative Assistant Kyle Richard at kyle@lanisngartgallery.org, and he will reach out with more information.

Are you in a position to support members in need?

  • If you are able to give back at this time and support our mission (or this particular membership initiative), we welcome your gift. Please click here to make a donation today. You can also renew your membership for the coming here by clicking here.

We’re thinking of you, and we miss you! Until next time, I encourage you to be artful, inspired, and generous to yourself and your loved ones.

Stay Safe,

Barb Whitney
