Christine Beals is a lifelong resident of the Lansing area. She has spent a large part of her working career, restoring antiques. This has helped her develop an eye for craftsmanship, particularly in the realm of all things vintage. Her art is born out of an interest in artistic and spiritual expression, with a desire to join color and space. Her hope is that her creations are seen as both calming and inspiring. Her art is self Making art is a very special part of my life. Art is an excellent way for me to be creative, to stay busy, and to share my gift with others. Art started as a hobby, to create handmade gifts for family and friends. People were so drawn to the artwork that I began to take commissions, and I'm thankful that it has grown into so much more than just a hobby. There are so many things that inspire my art. Geometric patterns are known to draw in the mind. The dimensions can be calming and yet, complex, at the same time. Nature is another wonderful inspiration. Birds, flowers, and fauna are some of things that give meaning to my artistic ideas. Choosing colors can be inspired by moods, nature, or something randomly sparkly and beautiful. All of these things factor into the final creation.

Hinshaw is an artist, writer and educator. He holds an MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in ceramics and has been voted Michigan Art Teacher of the Year. Besides being a ceramic artist He has written and illustrated the children's book "Go."

Steph Joy Hogan is an award-winning mixed-media painter from Lansing, Michigan. While she studied art at both Michigan State University and the University of Iowa, she considers herself a primarily self-taught artist. She was voted Top Artist in the 2021 Lansing City Pulse Top of the Town contest (Top 3 in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022) and her recognizably vibrant and whimsical artwork has been featured in several Michigan galleries and many exhibitions with Mid-Michigan Art Guild and Working Women Artists, of which she recently served as President. Her artwork has been featured on two billboards and a bus stop, and her commissioned mixed-media paintings can be found permanently installed in Impression 5 Science Center, the Susan and Jack Davis Nature Pavilion and Gallery at Fenner Nature Center, and the beautiful new headquarters of The Davies Project.

Yve Holtzclaw is a genderqueer artist and educator originally from Atlanta, Georgia. Growing up along the riverbanks of the Chattahoochee, Yve draws their inspiration from the conversations between humans and their environment. Specifically tuned into the effects of urban crawl, industrialization, commerce, they find inspiration in the parallels between the relationship of humans on their local ecology, to the persistence of invasive, domestic, and pest species that continue to assert themselves in otherwise “tame” places. Since graduating from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with their BFA in ceramics and art history in 2020, they have been awarded the Donis. A. Dondis travel grant, completed a residency in ceramics at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, and organized shows both locally and nationally. Their work focuses on the intersection of the metaphysical and the tender through immersive, humorous, and nostalgic installations which explore how we as humans occupy the land, our bodies, and build community. They currently reside in Kalamazoo where they work and teach ceramics at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art.

The Little Flower Soap Co. is a Michigan based small-batch, body care company established in 2010 by husband/wife team Holly & Justin Rutt who work from their small Michigan studio. Their mission is to design products that become must-have, can't-live-without favorites. The couple perfects completely natural, healing recipes that smell amazing, are functional, and are nicely packaged. Little Flower Soaps are cold-processed in small batches using heirloom techniques perfected and polished with time. They use only the best essential oils, botanicals, and minerals including organic rosemary leaf, organic lavender flowers, organic cocoa butter, Shea butter, and many more.

Printmaker. Currently, Núñez-Regueiro lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is a resident artist at Ypsi Alloy Studios, where she is part of a collective of 16 artists that work in many different media.A collection of Núñez-Regueiro prints recently became part of the Henry Ford Cancer Institute Art Collection. Her prints have been published in many different catalogs and magazines such as The Hand Magazine Issues 36 and 38, Voyage Michigan in December 2022, The 13th Biennial Miniature Print International Exhibition Catalog, The 2021 Members Catalog of The Print Club of Rochester, and The Print EXPO 2021 and 2023 catalogs.In 2022, Nunez-Regueiro was the recipient of the Elizabeth Charles Award at the Lansing Art Gallery for her creating visibility for minorities through her artwork. She recently served as curator to the art exhibit “Eye of the Storm” at Hatch Art Gallery, and as a judge at the “Embracing Our Differences Michigan” outdoor exhibit which features 60 billboard size images of artworks from national and international artists.This year Núñez-Regueiro also participated at the “Conversations in Practice” Artist Residency at Ox Bow Art School and Residency Program.In Summer 2023 Núñez-Regueiro is the exhibiting artist at the Saugatuck Center for the Art where she not only will exhibit her work in a solo show but also will help in the creation of different art events and educational programs for all ages.Núñez-Regueiro is also a printmaking instructor at her own studio as well as others such as Signal Return in Detroit, MI, the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI, and the Lansing Art Gallery in Lansing, MI.She is an incessantly positive artist and she profoundly believes in art as a tool to create the social change that can lead us to thoughtful actions, and bettering ourselves and our communities.

O’Neill was thrusted into her metal sculpture career when her dad was diagnosed with lung cancer.  “My Dad has always been a major influence in my life. You would describe him as a “renaissance” man. He was always exploring new creative expressions from photography to candle making. He found his true calling as a potter. I always followed his lead, enjoying the journey and camaraderie. His death started my artistic journey - first making mixed media creations with his pottery and enhancing them with metal receptacles. I wanted to pursue a new perspective to honor my dad’s art. I believe the expected presentation of a ceramic vessel limited its expression and uniqueness. This led to my exploration of metal form as its own artistic expression.” Recently, I am exploring the manipulation of metal using fabrication machinery: Specifically, the bending and cutting of metal to form a more fluid and unique sculpture. Each shape contributes to the final form. The exploration of the positive and negative space, the composition and three-dimensional process results in something unique that usually surprises me. Also, I am exploring better integration of my ceramic, glass and steel pieces: Building each piece with the other in mind.

Jim has been a professional artist for over 50 years. After attending Wayne State University and Michigan State University, Jim began a career in creative woodworking, focusing mainly on one-of-a-kind studio art furniture. He uses various media - metal, stone, wood - to create sculptures, mobiles, and stabiles.

A former Detroiter, Jim now lives and works in semi-rural Bath, Michigan where he is currently developing a private sculpture garden. Although he sells most of his work at art fairs around the country from Manhattan to Kansas City, he is also represented by various galleries in Michigan and the upper Midwest. His work has also been highlighted in Taunton Press' Design Book 7, Fine Woodworking Magazine, and The Chicago Tribune.

Jim's has exhibited in a number of public art exhibitions around Michigan including but not limited to: Sculptures in the Park in Lansing, Walk of Art in East Jordan, Art on Campus at the Kellogg Community College and Art Prize in Grand Rapids. Jim's work is also held in permanent collections at the Sparrow Hospital and the Housing Coalition.
