Katrina M. Daniels - Exhibitions and Gallery Sales Director
Daniels is passionate about the arts and the community; her experience includes over ten years in the arts field with expertise in gallery settings and community engagement.
At Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center (Gallery), she oversees over 100 Michigan artists for Gallery exhibitions and public art programs. ArtPath, the Gallery's current public art project was co-founded by Daniels and featured in the prestigious Americans for the Arts, which recognizes organizations and individuals who cultivate, promote, sustain, and support the arts in America. She is also the co-founder of Project Vermillion, a curatorial collective founded in 2019 and centered on the intersection of art, architecture, and the built environment. Additionally, Daniels has juried statewide and has twice served as a mentor in the New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artist Mentorship program in Detroit.
Growing up in the Lansing area, Daniels has also lived in New York City and spent time abroad in France, Germany, Belgium, and South Africa where she immersed herself in the art, architecture, and cultural heritage of each place before returning home to pursue her career in the nonprofit art sector.
Daniels has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History & Visual Culture with a minor in Museum Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University.
