About This Installation

This piece is a geometric pattern painted on a wooden board using a hard edge approach. The design will be a celestial star painted in vibrant colors while incorporating lunar phases for added detail. Movement and patterns to engage the eye and enliven the natural surroundings.

Artist Bio

Christine Beals is a self-trained artist and has been working in this field for the past seven years and she has produced over 350 pieces of original Work. Her work has been featured at the Lansing Arts Council, on the cover of the City Pulse, ScrapFest, the Lansing Art Gallery and a number of other exhibitions in Michigan.

This site is just south of Saginaw St. This site is near a trailhead with accessible parking, it is filled with mature trees and has a small bench.
