2021 Ingham Student Art Virtual Exhibition

Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, Ingham Intermediate School District and the Michigan Education Leadership Group host this annual celebration of excellence in the visual arts. The Ingham Student Art Exhibit is a competition open to all K-12 students within the Ingham Intermediate School District service area. Submitted artwork was selected by a qualified juror and will  be professionally framed.

The selected artwork normally would be on exhibition at Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center, Ingham Intermediate School District Thorburn Education Center and at the Michigan Educational Leadership Group. Exhibition opening dates have been postponed due to the Stay Home - Stay Safe executive order.

Until we can be together, we are proud to display student's artwork here.  Enjoy!

Thank You Steph Hogan

Special thanks to local artist Steph Hogan who served as the juror for the 2021 exhibit.

Steph Hogan is a mixed-media painter and Lansing, Michigan native.  Steph studied art at both Michigan State University and the University of Iowa. Steph credits her parents and sisters for developing her love of visual arts, over-active imagination, and outlandish sense of humor... all of which shine through her whimsical paintings.

Steph Joy Hogan is a Top 3 City Pulse Top of the Town Artist (2018, 2019, 2020) and her recognizably vibrant and whimsical artwork has been featured in Katalyst Gallery, Lansing Art Gallery, Main street Art, Northville Art House and several exhibitions with Mid-Michigan Art Guild and Working Women Artists, of which she recently served as President.  Her painting, “Lion” (No. 1) was highlighted on a 2019 Art in the Sky billboard and her original mixed media artwork can be found permanently installed in Impression 5 Science Center, the Susan and Jack Davis Nature Pavilion and Gallery at Fenner Nature Center, and the headquarters of The Davies Project. Learn more about Steph Hogan and visit Steph Hogan's website .
