Spring Break Art Camp
Spring Break Art Camp students learn and experience creativity in the professional setting of Lansing Art Gallery. Young artists will explore creative processes, techniques and materials with the guidance of trained artists. Each series of classes culminates in a student art show in the Student Gallery!
Ages 7 – 12. Open to all skill levels.
Lunch supervision available for additional (nominal) fees.
Maximum class size: 15 students.

Lunch Supervision (for all-day campers only)
Students enrolling in both AM and PM sessions must have supervision during the lunch hour.
Lunch supervision is $5 per day. Students bring their own lunch. (You may opt out of lunch supervision if you take your child to lunch.)

Art of the Americas
with Teaching Artist Paloma Rosales
Explore the Americas in this exciting celebration of North and Central American Art! Students will have the chance to learn about the traditions and cultures of these regions and participate in the art-making processes themselves. Using a variety of materials, they will create many different pieces from Huichol Indian Style Yarn Paintings to the whimsical imagined animal sculptures of Oaxaca. It’s time to explore!

Create Your Own World Masterpieces
with Teaching Artist Lauren Nalepa
From the whimsical art of Gustav Klimt to the unique self-portraits of Frida Kahlo, Students will learn about art history from all over the world and find their own individual expression. Using many different materials, they will create paper sculptures, still-life paintings with watercolor, and so much more. While exploring these masterpieces, students will unveil their own inner artists!
