Main Gallery: “Migrations” by Indrani Nayar-Gall
Through her printmaking, Indrani Nayar-Gall examines issues surrounding migrations from a comfortable environment to an unknown land and culture. Drawing inspiration from personal encounters, memories and readings, Indrani brings to life issues concerning identity, gender & race relations, discrimination and perception. In order to better communicate these explorations, Nayar-Gall frequently includes characters from “Alice In Wonderland” to serve as a metaphor in her works. She earned both her BFA and MFA in printmaking from Visva Bharati University India
