2018 ARTpath Artists & Sites

During the Summer of 2018, Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center partnered with the City of Lansing’s Parks and Recreation Department to provide a public art display in 10 sites featured along our historic Lansing River Trail. This temporary, site-specific public art project connected 3.5 miles of public art sites throughout the city while creating awareness and enhancing the River Trail as a cultural attraction. Learn more about where the art was with our ARTpath map. Thank you to our jurors who offered their expertise to choose this work! Learn more about our jurors here.

The kickoff event was a multi-modal curatorial tour where visitors could walk, bike or kayak to see the art followed by a reception at The Pub at the Lansing Center with beer from the Lansing Brewing Company! Join our kick off event here!

Many sponsors and over 70 individual contributors made this project possible, and we are $25,000 toward our $30,000 minimum goal! Special thanks to Walter V. Marshall for videography, and please note our primary sponsor logos below. You can help by clicking the button below to contribute.
