ARTpath Site #1 | Turner Dodge House

The Turner Dodge House is a historic mansion in the Old Town neighborhood and the northern most site of ARTpath. Originally constructed shortly after the middle of the 19th century this was one of the earliest major residential structures in Michigan’s new capital city. It was the home for 100 years to several generations of a pioneer family who had a profound impact on both local and state history. This site is has a grassy expanse as well a small concrete pad that lends itself well to sculpture or an installation.
